During late 2025, two smartphones drew much attention because of their strong feature sets and affordability. We discuss each model in detail below, with their specifications, pros and cons, SEO-friendly keywords, and reasons for popularity.

Samsung Galaxy A36 5G (Samsung)

Review (Pros & Cons)

Pros:

Bright, high-refresh AMOLED screen and premium feel; the 6.7″ display is sharp and smooth (120Hz) with great sunlight visibility.

Strong main camera with Optical Image Stabilization. The 50MP OIS sensor captures detailed, steady shots even in low light.

Robust battery life - the 5000mAh cell easily lasts a full day or more with moderate use.

Long software support: Samsung will reportedly offer up to 6 Android upgrades and 6 years of security patches.

Cons:

Midrange performance: While the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3-and Adreno 710 GPU-handle everyday tasks without issues, they cannot keep up with flagship chips. Heavy gaming can slow down the device.

Limited secondary cameras: the 8MP ultrawide and 5MP macro are serviceable but not very impressive by the standards of 2025.

No SD card slot. The high storage is fixed and might limit expandability.

Charging speed: Only a 25W fast charger is provided with this phone, though it supports 45W. The charging is good but not class-leading.

Infinix Zero 40 4G (Infinix)

The Infinix Zero 40 4G is a budget Android sma

Price PKR & USD

Price: ~PKR 50,600 for the 8GB/256GB version. This is about US$289 at launch as priced initially by Infinix.

Review (Pros & Cons)

Pros

Stunning main camera: the 108MP sensor with OIS produces very detailed daylight shots, rivalling far more expensive phones for its price in photo quality.

Vivid AMOLED display: The 6.74″ screen is vibrant and colorful, with 120Hz smoothness, which is unusual for this price class.

Value-packed features: stereo speakers, NFC, IR blaster, and a big 5000 mAh battery are all present, which is not often seen on very inexpensive phones.

Fast Charging: 45W charging refuels the phone in no time, all while minimizing downtime.

Cons: Only 4G. Lacks 5G and Wi-Fi 6E, which many rivals in late 2025 offer, even in budget phones. Middling performance: The Helio G100 chipset is good enough for light work but a bit lacking for hard gaming or heavy multitasking, considering what modern midrange chips can do. Software bloat. Infinix's XOS interface has some extra apps and ads, and software update support that is somewhat short compared to some competitors. Secondary cameras are limited: the 50MP ultrawide and 2MP depth lenses are functional but not outstanding. There is no OIS on ultra-wide, and video is capped at 2K on this model. Price versus features. While cheap, some buyers may still find it expensive given the absence of 5G connectivity.

This is my honest review of these 2 newly launched devices. HOPE YOU LIKE IT.
